SPEC Students received 2nd place award in the student hardware project demonstration at ECCE 2024

SPEC students Dr. Zibo Chen, Huanghaohe Zou, Mafu Zhang, Chen Chen received 2nd place award in the student hardware project demonstration at ECCE 2024 for the demonstration entitled "High Performance SiC Power Module Based on 3D Repacking of Discrete SiC Devices". The demonstration successfully showed repackaging techniques for building high power modules with much lower cost and higher flexibility compared with commercial SiC power modules, which has huge potential for fast prototyping and mass production.
